Side & Story is your online store for quality sideboards & credenzas, consoles & coffee tables, and étagères & shelving units. Unlike other online marketplaces that sell a vast selection of furniture, Side & Story curates and offers enduring furniture that makes "a statement."

We were tired of spending money on inexpensive furniture that fell apart after one move. We were adding to landfills -- not our enjoyment. And we'd experienced the challenge of finding the right pieces with the character -- and sustainability -- to make the room remarkable.

That's why we created Side & Story.

Think about it: the horizontal surfaces around you serve as your "stage" to display the artifacts and media of your life. When you enjoy your favorite items on the top of a Side & Story piece everyday, you nurture appreciation for your story. And you open the door to enriching conversations when guests say, "tell me about that.' These are the reminders of your story. Right at your side.

And beyond your story told on top, is the story of the designers, architects and artisans who craft the pieces we offer. It's layers upon layers of story. 

But there's more. Your purchase provides hope for others creating a new arc to their story.

Side & Story is a cause-driven company. We donate 20% of net proceeds to non-profit organizations that mentor people coming from hard places. Our founder served as the CEO of Traffick911, a non-profit commended for its mentoring programs for child sex trafficking survivors. Through mentoring relationships with trusted adults, people are empowered to chart new chapters to their story. They just need someone at their side.

It's that experience that spurred the development of a giveback business dedicated to resourcing mentoring organizations. We support these vetted charities whose work we know firsthand: Traffick911, The Net FW, and Redeemed Women.

We're based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but ship from warehouses across the US. We offer customized shipping services that bring your assembled pieces (some pieces may require some light assembly) inside your home, place it where you want it (on first floor -- special services for higher floors can be arranged) and remove the shipping debris. This premium shipping service is offered at a discount -- just 13% of product price.
